Attaching PDF's to your Customer Emails

Here's how you can create and send a PDF within your customised emails to your guests with Google Drive

Please note that this does not physically attach it to the email, this allows you to hyperlink the PDF to wording within the email. So firstly, you will need access to Google Drive.

Please add the PDF document you want to share with your guests to your Google Drive.

Once the document is uploaded to your drive, on the top right-hand side click on Share and change the General Access to 'Anyone with the link' and ensure it is on Viewer access too:

Click on Copy link and once you have the link it will look something like this:

You need to remove the edit?usp=sharing and replace it with export?format=pdf

That's the link sorted now you need to add it to your preferred email that you want to customise this PDF document to within your Inn Style account.

So you will head to Account > Customised Emails

Edit or set up the customised emails where you want this document to be on.

Once you have the sentence in place which talks about the PDF you are attaching you can then

  1. Highlight a relevant word/s in the sentence

  2. Press the link button

  3. Paste in the link and press link.

  4. Save the email once you are happy with all the content.

When your guests now receive your email they will be able to click on the link to view the PDF document.
