How do I add an optional extra manually?
How do I add an optional extra manually?

If you take a booking over the phone you can still add your optional extras to the booking.

To add an optional or compulsory extra to your booking if you've taken a booking manually over the phone or by email you need to do the following.

Underneath the booking you will see the section called Added to the Bill.

Click on this Add Optional/Compulsory Extra button
โ€‹Please Note: You will only see this option if you have set up optional extras in Accommodation > Optional Extras. This guide will help you get them set up.

You will then see the box below appear.

Select the date the guests would like the extra (this could be a date within their stay or the stay start date), the booking you want to add it to, if you have more than one optional extra set up you will be able to select which one you require from the dropdown list. Add the quantity by changing the number of units and then press Add this extra to the bill

You will then see the line item added to the bill like this. The date you put in the box above will populate in the booked for date as shown below.

If you make a mistake, you can remove the optional extra by clicking on the Red X.
