Before you start, make sure you have set up the Gift Vouchers here

Please Note: You will need a Stripe, Inn Charge or Paystack account to be able to sell Gift Vouchers. It’s quick and easy, go to Account > Payment Methods if you don’t have a payment gateway set up already!

The simplest way for your guests to purchase a gift voucher online at your property is to add an Eyecatcher.  By adding this you don’t need to change any code on your website, the link will appear as soon as it’s activated.

Go to Account > Eyecatchers

You will see this screen where you will need to click on Add Eyecatcher

This will take you to this window to complete.

Description - Add some text here to entice your potential customer such as - Looking for a gift for someone?

Link Text - This is the text the customer will click on to go through to make a purchase so use something like - Click here to purchase a voucher

Link Location - you need to add /gift-vouchers here this will then allow the customer once they’ve clicked on the link to go through to the Gift voucher purchase screen.

Status - Set to Active for this to be live on your booking engine.  Please note you can only have one Active Eyecatcher at a time.

Then save it, that’s it! If you go to your website and the online booking area you will now see a banner at the top where your guests can click a link. Once they click this link they will be taken to the gift voucher purchase page which looks like this.

Please note: The image on the gift card is taken from the first image in your showcase gallery. To see this go to Accommodation > Galleries

The customer will then add their name and email address in the fields.
They can also add the name and email address of the recipient, if they are buying the voucher for someone else. Just toggle the button to be able to complete the fields.
If they would like to add a custom message on the voucher eg: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ENJOY YOUR GIFT" they can, and it will appear on the email send directly to the recipient with the voucher code to use.
Next they select the gift voucher amount and press continue. The customer will be taken to the checkout page where they can pay by card.

Once the voucher has been purchased and paid for they will get confirmation of the purchased voucher and the voucher code. An email will also be sent to them.

The email looks like this, but you are able to customise the email that are sent to the purchaser and recipient to make it more personalised. To do this please go to Account > Customised Emails > New Customised Email and select the one you wish to customise:
Issue Voucher to recipient
Issue Voucher to purchaser

How will I know if a voucher has been purchased?

We will send you a notification to alert you of any gift voucher sales.

You can view all Gift voucher sales by going to Gift Vouchers > Gift Voucher Checkouts
