Please Note: You will need a Stripe or Inn Charge account to be able to sell Gift Vouchers. It’s quick and easy to set one up in Account > Payment Methods if you don’t have one!
In order to get started and start selling gift vouchers to your potential customers the first thing you need to do is set up some gift voucher products.
So you need to go to Account > Gift vouchers
From this screen click on Products
And then Add Gift Voucher Product, you will then see the screen below
Voucher Amount - add how much the voucher will be worth to the guest to redeem in denominations of £10 to £200 and then in multiples of £50 upwards.
Selling Price - this can be the same as the voucher amount, but if you want to entice the customer to buy one by selling for example a £100 voucher for £75 then you would enter £75 here.
Months of validity - select how long from purchase you want the voucher to be valid for. For example, if you set your validity to 24 months this is how it will show for your guests;
Within the T&C's for Gift Vouchers this will still show at 12 months
Status - you need to set the voucher to active in order to sell it to potential customers.
You can make a voucher amount inactive at anytime too.
Please note: If you are issuing a Gift Voucher at the point below, you can only do this for FREE(as a gift, for family/friends). Card details cannot be added by you or ourselves.
That’s it, repeat this process to set up as many different voucher amounts as you like.
