In order to get the two-way iCal connection you need to set this up on your Inn Style account, please go to Account>Extensions and install the Importable iCalenders to pull in your bookings from Airbnb.
How does it work?
Every 30 minutes, via the two-way iCal, Inn Style will fetch information from AirBnb and receive new reservations in a provisional state (with limited booking information). As of 1 December 2019 we will only receive the check in/check out date. This is part of Airbnb’s ongoing efforts to minimise exposure of guest information. We do not receive payment details or the prices from Airbnb, so we will just populate the price based on what is loaded in Inn Style for your default Rate Type.
How do I set this up?
Head to Airbnb’s Homepage
Click on Calendar then
Click on Availibility
Under Connect calendars, click Airbnb calendar export
Copy the Airbnb calendar link
Log into your Inn Style account > Navigate to Distribution > Incoming Ical feed > New Incoming Ical Feed and paste the Airbnb calendar link
After the iCal is saved, click on the file folder and refresh iCalender. (Please do not add any of the bookings manually as this may cause issues with availability)
Next to the Reservation ID there will be a round green arrow to click on to import all your Airbnb bookings. Your screen will then look like this when the import is done.
Then go to the Dashboard where you will see the bookings showing in a provisional state (pale blue color) "Reserved for Airbnb customer"
In order for the Airbnb reservation to show in your Diary, underneath Arriving Today, and as a statistic within your reports, you will need to change the reservation into a confirmed state.
Important: Please check your list of reservations on Airbnb against the ones we pulled in via the iCal and contact us for assistance if you notice any discrepancies.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
