The new SCA regulations are designed to make card payments more secure and now require your guests to authorise their payment on a smart phone. We have all the technology in place to support this via payment requests and the online booking flow.
However if you have guests who do not have a smart phone and are unable to pay via these new processes then we do have an option for them to pay via Inn Style as a telephone sale if you are using Stripe.
Please note: This is not recommended and you will not be covered for fraudulent transactions or chargebacks.
This will only be switched on, on users accounts on a request basis. There are some additional steps you will need to follow within your Stripe account to activate this too.
You will need to go to this link within your Stripe account https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/integration
You will then see this page, you need to toggle where it says Handle card information directly to on.
You then need to agree to each of the statements and complete a reason for wanting to bypass the SCA regulations before you can continue.
Once you have completed these steps and verified your phone number you will need to contact our support team via the the chat system to request it be activated on your Inn Style account.
