If you've gone to the price updater and you can't see the "thing" you are looking to update in the dropdown box then you need to adjust your configuration settings.

To do this go to Prices > Price update > Click on the White Config button

You will then see this screen. This screen will vary slightly depending on which Price Basis you have set up within your Rate type/s i.e Per Room per night, Per person per night or Length of stay.

Per Room Per Night

Standard Pricing

Nightly rate - the rate for the room per night (default is set to 2 people sharing but this can be amended in the rate type set up)

2 Night rate, 3 Night, 4 Night etc - This would be used if you discount guests for staying for longer of periods of time. For example you might charge £100 per night but it might be £95 per night if they stay 2 nights or more, therefore you would add £95 in the 2 night rate box.

Occupancy Pricing

Single Occupancy - This would be the amount charged for a single traveller in a room

Single occupancy discount - This would be used to add a discount off the nightly rate.

Additional Adult (Nightly) - This would be the amount charged above the "based on" price in the rate type. The charge would then be added for each night booked. For example if the room is based on 2 people sharing but it accepts 3 adults.

Additional Adult (Stay) - This would be the amount charged above the "based on" price in the rate type. The charge would then be added for the total stay regardless of the number of nights booked.

Child Price (Nightly) - This would be the amount charged if a child was added (the child price would only be added if the person total was greater than the amount added as the "based on" price in the rate type). Child Ages are set in Guest Experience.

Child Price (Stay) - This would be the amount charged above the "based on" price in the rate type for each child. The charge would then be added for the total stay regardless of the number of nights booked.

Infant Price - The amount charged per infant per stay. There is no nightly option for infants and an infant is any child that stays under the minimum child age set in Guest Experience, providing your policies accept infants.

Dogs Price (Nightly) - The amount charged for each dog on a nightly basis. This is based on your accommodation set up and how many dogs (if any) each room can accommodate.

Dogs Price (Stay) - The price for each dog per stay regardless of number of nights booked - again it's based on your accommodation set up.

Alternative Pricing

Weekly Price - Can only be used with Per room per night rate types and you would add a price for a 7 night stay in this field once configured.

Long Stay Price - The rate per night for stays of 28 nights or more.

Base Daily Price - Mainly used with per person per night pricing on campsites where you need to add a base price for electric for example.

One-off Base Price - Used when you need to use a one off price added to each stay regardless of number of nights booked.

Rates & Restrictions

Min Stay Check in - Minimum length of stay on day of check in

Min Stay Any - Minimum length of stay when staying on that date so for example if this is set to 3 it could be staying that day and 2 nights either side of it.

Max Stay Check in - Maximum length of stay on day of check in

Max Stay Any - Maximum length of stay when staying on that date so for example if this is set to 3 it could be staying that day and 2 nights either side of it.

Exact Stay Any - Exact length of stay when staying on that date so for example if this is set to 3 it could be staying that day and 2 nights either side of it.

Closed - Use this to close off the Rate type for particular dates

Please Call - Use this if you want people to call you about certain dates rather than having it bookable online

No Check in - Use this for any days you don't want guests to be able to check in (ideal for self catering properties with set check in and checkout days)

No Check out - Use this for any days you don't want guests to be able to check out (ideal for self catering properties with set check in and checkout days)

Length of Stay Pricing - Mainly used for Self catering properties

Standard Pricing

1 Night Stay - Price for a 1 night stay only.

2 Night Stay, 3 Night Stay etc - These are the prices for set stays so ideal for those who sell 3 night weekend stays, 4 night mid week and then weekly stays of 7 nights.

Per Person Per Night

Standard Pricing

Adult Price - If you user per person per night and all adults are the same price then you just need to load the one price in Adult price

2 Adults, 3 adults etc - If you offer a different rate if there are 2 adults or more staying in the same accommodation then you can add the discounted per adult rate here. For example if there is 1 adult staying and it's £100 but if 2 adults or more stay then it's £95 per adult you would £95 in the 2 adults field.

Tick all the pricing options which apply to your property.

Then press the green Save Price Configuration button.

When you go back to the Price updater you will now see the ticked options in the dropdown box of "What to update".
