Do you want to simplify your pricing in the Grid?  Make your prices easy to update at the touch of a button? Then derived pricing is just made for this purpose.

Simply set up a Room Only rate type then create each additional rate type and inherit the price from the Room Only rate type, then use our modifiers section to modify the price by a fixed amount £ or % - you can even specify a date range!

In the following example, we already have a Room Only rate type set at £100 per night.  We then create a new Bed and Breakfast Rate type and INHERIT the Room Only rate type as circled. 

Once this is done, simply modify this new rate type by 'x' for your breakfast charge!  We have added £20.

And now when a customer goes to book - They see both options in the guest view:

The clever things is, that when you change your price in the Grid for Room Only, the Bed and Breakfast Rate will automatically be modified. Thus saving you time and money!
