How to refund your guests onto a gift voucher

Do you have a guest that has paid in full or a deposit and wants/needs to cancel but they are inside of your cancellation charges?

We now have the ability to refund onto a Gift Voucher instead of refunding the guests card.  Giving you the opportunity to retain the guest and their money for a future visit.

To do this you need to go to the reservation and press the refund button in the same way you do now.  Once you've pressed refund you will now see an additional box in this screen.

You can process a part or full refund onto a gift voucher. 

Once you've ticked this box and processed the refund, the funds are then transferred onto a Gift Voucher.  This voucher is sent automatically in an email to the Bookers email address.  The voucher validity is 1 year from the date of issue.

Please Note: You need to have the guests email stored in order to process a refund onto a Gift Voucher.
