If you use bookable units, there's a chance that guests might make a reservation that can only be accommodated by them staying in more than one bookable, as the system looks across ALL availability of the units to maximise your occupancy. In the example below an unallocated booking is showing, as within the 3 yurts there IS availability for a 3 night stay on 27,28 and 29th - we just cant add it to the dashboard!
We will notify you of this in NOTIFICATIONS
and place the reservation in an unallocated banner below your dashboard for immediate action.
All you need to do is use the drag and drop feature to move one of the existing reservations into a space to accommodate the new booking. In our example above you would move Yurt 9 arriving 28th down to yurt 10, thus freeing up yurt 9 for 3 complete nights.! - Click on the unallocated booking and then click on +ALLOCATE and the system will automatically place it in the newly created gap on your dashboard.
It's important to allocate the booking as soon as you can. Failure to to do so can result in more bookings coming through for the same dates and rooms.
Please note this is not an error of the system, but designed to maximise your occupancy - If you do not want to have this as a feature you must use one on one mapping, but in the example above you wouldn't have sold this bookable and would have had to rely on 2 additional sales, one for one night and one for 2 nights, thus increasing your costs and risk of reduced occupancy.
