Generate invoices for your Corporate bookings

Written by Samantha Williams

Inn Style now enables you to create and assign a company to reservations for seamless invoicing, making it perfect for corporate bookings, with the ability to generate professional, branded invoices complete with payment details, which can be easily sent as a PDF or emailed directly from within the reservation.

How do I set this up?

  • Navigate to Extensions > Customer Management and install Customers & Companies

  • Tick the box Generate invoices instead of statements for company reservations and Save

There are 2 ways for you to create a company as a Bookable Owner:

1. Go to the Customers tab in the navigation bar > Companies > Add New Company

2. Or you can do it from within a new reservation. Complete the contact details of the guest and click on the Create a Company button.

Add the Company Details, Address and Contact Details. This information will be displayed on the invoice.

You are able to create an exclusive Rate Type for a specific company in Prices > Rate Types > New Rate Type and assign it to the Company. (this is optional).

It's important you DO NOT select the rate type that your guests use to book. If you do this it will prevent your guests from booking on your website. Please use a specific rate type for the company.

Now when you create a Corporate booking, you can choose a company from the drop down under the Company Details within the reservation as it shows all the existing companies.

After the booking is confirmed, you can scroll down to the bottom of the reservation to email or print out an Invoice PDF for the guest / company.

Can I assign an existing reservation to a company?

Yes you can! You call up the existing reservation, click on the Company and choose the company it should be assigned to.

Please note: Your company information can be added if you go to Account > Currency & Payments > Company Info & Tax.

You need to add your VAT number here, so that it can reflect on the invoice. This is a requirement if you use invoices.
